Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi, has updated its travel restrictions and announced that travelers traveling from 70 countries, including the United States, China, the Maldives, France, the United Kingdom, and Russia, will be granted visas on arrival.

Travelers who are nationals or residents of the United Arab Emirates, or who qualify for a visa on arrival, can enter Abu Dhabi, according to Etihad.

Travelers from the following 70 countries do not require a visa to enter the UAE. “Simply make your way to immigration when you arrive in Abu Dhabi to get a visa,” Etihad added.

All pre-arranged entrance visas (including new resident visas) issued before March 17, 2020, have been revoked and will no longer be allowed for admission into the UAE.
