In 2020, over 17 million passengers passed through Dubai Airports despite the Covid-19 pandemic, lockdowns and border closures.
According to the latest statistics reported by the Directorate-General for Residency and Foreign Affairs (GDRFA), the dubai airports facilitated the travel of over 18 Million passengers

According to the data, the total number of flights at Dubai International Airport reached 81,000 and 806, compared with 10,000 and 247 at Al Maktoum International Airport, for a total of 92,000 and 53 flights.
