Most Searched Destination for 2021, UAE

COVID 19 has bought travel into a standstill, where planes are grounded, airports shut down, with anxiety experienced by many people. Nonetheless, some have already started planning where to go after the pandemic, with optimistic thinking that one day they will fly to their most desired vacation spots.

With no surprise, UAE ranks first in the world’s most searched destinations globally and the most popular holiday destinations for 2021. The survey was conducted by UK-based luxury travel group, Kuoni Travels.

The analytics for the survey collaborated with Google Trends in terms of the number of searches for the destination and using the keyword of ‘2021 holiday’ by the search engine.

This fuels up as Dubai reopened borders on the first week of July for tourism. Various attractions across the country have made health and safety as a top priority by adopting various safety measures while providing best of the class experience. Dubai has also made it to the MasterCard’s Global Destination Cities Index as the fourth most visited city in the world.

UAE is famous for its sunshine, gold dunes and the fantastic skyline with a variant style of opulent skyscrapers.  Meanwhile, each emirate in the country offers a unique experience.

Abu Dhabi: is known for luxurious hotels, fancy theme parks and rides.

Dubai: is known for long stretched beaches, epic shopping malls, and tall buildings.

Sharjah:  is known for contemporary Islamic culture and heritage sites.

Ajman: is known for its historical sites and discounted shopping spots.

Umm Al Quwain:  is known for its facilities in recreational activities.

Ras Al Khaimah: is known for a place of adventure sports, its highest mountain point, and its beautiful coastline beach resorts.

Fujairah: is known for its incredible snorkeling spots.
