The places where the world meets, ‘Global Village’ has announced its silver jubilee edition. The family entertainment place revealed its 25th edition will commence on the 25th of October and will run till the 12th of April 2021.
The 24th edition was closed ahead of the schedule amid the effort to stop the spread of the global pandemic, COVID 19.
The season would run for 25 weeks, that is over a span of 6 months. This edition has a small specialty, the park for the first time would run during the Ramadan season. The Muslim month of fasting would commence somewhere around 12th April 2021. Visitors could experience the village during the month of Holy Ramadan.
The park would operate for 9 hours a day that is from 2PM to 11PM through the six months of operations. The park would offer brilliant opportunities with different pavilions across the globe selling unique products.
During an interview with Khaleej Times, Khadija Khalifa, Senior Director at Global Village said: “Upcoming edition is silver jubilee and it needs to be a big one.” Global Village aims to set the bars up high and welcome more than 7 million visitors. They also endure that the tickets are affordable and kept the ticket costs same as AED 15.
Safety and wellbeing of visitors to the park is paramount and Global village has never compromised and has kept this as a top priority. Global Village has been recognized a number of times in terms of its safety record and it is the only park in the world awarded with ‘Sword of Honor’ from the British Safety Council. The park also aims at using the state-of-the-art technology for safety and boosting confidence to the guests arriving at Global Village.
