According to Global Financial Centers Index, an annual list that compiles the world’s leading financial centers – Dubai and Abu Dhabi have made it on the list for the year 2020.
UAE’s two cities: Dubai and Abu Dhabi have reserved the first and second spot respectively as top financial cities in the Middle East and Northern African (MENA) region.
The Dubai Media Office tweeted on Sunday: “Dubai and Abu Dhabi named the top financial cities in the Middle East and North Africa by the Global Financial Centers Index which charts the progress of the world’s leading financial centers”.
Additionally, Abu Dhabi was the only city in the MENA region to climb a rank in the overall global rankings.
Conclusively, Dubai remains on the 17th position, as a leading financial center globally and Abu Dhabi secured 33rd place.
